LOCATION

The two mining leases having SMS grade Limestone deposits are located at Jaisalmer
and at Gotan as follows -

i) The SMS Grade limestone mines at Jaisalmer are known as Sanu Limestone Mines
and are located on Jaisalmer - Sanu road at a distance of about 60 KMs from
Jaisalmer Town. The road is passing through the mining area. Jaisalmer is a
district Headquarter in the state of Rajasthan. Jaisalmer railway station is
a BG (Broad Gauge) terminal railway station on Jodhpur – Falodi – Jaisalmer
railway line of North Western Railways.

ii) The SMS grade limestone mines at Gotan distt. Nagaur are known as Heera,
Sawai and Sona Limestone Mines and are located near village Basni en-route
Gotan to Merta city via Basni Seja Road. This road is passing through the
mining area. Gotan is under Tehsil Merta city, distt. Nagaur of Rajasthan
State. Gotan railway station is a BG terminal railway station on Jodhpur –
Jaipur North Western Railway route.
